Bloomberg Story

At the risk of my liberal friends and fellow bloggers telling me in a loud chorus I told you so; I offer this, there better be a change in how our government spends money.

How do you blame this only on the Republicans? As I see it, bith parties are responsible for this. They both are out of control! Have you heard one word out of the Democrat congress calling for less spending on social programs? Let he who has no blame throw the first stone!

Who's tax policy are we living under? Has the Democratic Senate been able to override the Bush tax/economic policy with their 51/49 majority? Are we seeing the promises of "tax cuts generate income and balance budgets" come true? Or were we lied to yet again?

Cheers mate,

We have been in deficit spending since the Civil War/War Between The States. I believe that Andrew Jackson was the last President to have a balanced budget. I might be off on that note, but you should start to get the point. You seem to blame this whole thing on the current administration, anyone with some objectivity can see that this spending issue has enough fault to cover both parties under 6ft. of manure. Duck engaged!

Just curious as to the thought process.

I seem to recall the Dems making a big deal out of 2 dollar a gallon gas, they ran on the fact that they would "DO SOMETHING" about it. Well thanks, but no thanks to that solution.

I get a kick out of anyone blaming everything on the "other" party.

Don't blame the "party."
Just some of the idiots you elected! And reelected.
