This year, after 2,175 miles or 87hrs 52' 52 of riding, the winner is a Spaniard, Carlos Sastre. The closest rider was 58 seconds behind in time.

Professional cycling has gone the way of Professional Wrestling. Either doped up, sensational headlines,up and the winner is pre-determined. It's a real shame. I used to really enjoy coverage of the race, but the sport currently has no credibility.
