The Citizen Newspaper--Thank You!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the editor and staff of the Citizen for giving the people a real voice. Mr. Beverly has taken his local paper and used it as a vehicle for the residents of this area to express the depth of their passion and disillusionment in the political establishment as it has evolved to this moment in time. He is sending his staff to ask the tough questions because he knows that most of us are working to support our families and cannot attend the meeting and investigate the background information concerning the decisions being made. He knows that those tasked with protection of the public’s trust have lost touch, or even worse abused the privilege, and is reminding them to whom they must answer. And you know what, he gives us credit for the ability to analyze the information and come to a reasonable conclusion. Every night the news gets worse and my worries grow larger, but it is nice to know that some in the media take their responsibilities seriously and use their influence as a vehicle to serve the greater good. It gives me hope that maybe we can do something about it. Thank You!!

You should've left already then. I saw one of those notorious shirts at a gas station in Fayetteville about two and a half years ago. I posted that experience on here a few weeks ago, I'm sure it's in the archives somewhere.
