A funny video but what's is Jesse's point?

This video (LINK) is making the rounds but it's really hard to understand what Jackson, who raised millions, under the auspices of a faith-based organization has against Obama's position on this.

Any ideas?

If Jesse does what he says he wants to do maybe he can give them to someone who really needs them like Harry Reid.

Now Jeff thou shalt not speak ill of thy party!
You degrade a fine excellent Mormon who bothers no one and is for greatness in all of humanity, plus he doesn't like BS very much.
He lets the idiots argue simple stuff!
One's mouth isn't very important in my opinion----re: Limburger.

Obama was saying that black men should step up to the plate and be fathers to their children not baby-daddies (my word, not his) and Jesse Jackson took offense to this. Seems he feels this is "talking down" to black people. It is a shame that Mr. Jackson feels the average black person is not able to understand what is being said if it is not in slang or Mr. Jackson's verse. Seems Mr. Jackson is not who he would like us to believe he is. Remember the "Hymie Town" remark he got away with and several others equally as offensive. If a white person had made similar remarks he would have been on every station denouncing that person as being racist. Guess he does not realize that racism goes both ways.

I believe Bill Cosby was ridiculed as well, for alluding to the same thing that Obama spoke about.

Jesse has done some great things in the past, however, he's entirely wrong on this issue and his sniping at Obama is uncalled for. Even Jesse's own son called him on it.

In my opinion, Jesse is part of that "old guard" political/social club that clings to the past, just like Jesse Helms did. These old guys represent a bygone era and they need to grow up. And the sooner these old codgers die off and make room for the new, enlightened and inclusive generation, the better off we'll be.

I saw it in the AJC this morning.

I'm just waiting for the naacp to spin this one. At some point you have to stop making excuses for people.
