Batches of bitter bark

make terrible tea!

Some of the people now commenting on here are certainly serving up that tea.
How can anyone make an argument for more drunken partying by young adults, who have shown they are losers?
What kind of people set up a place for them to gather, and fail to provide direction and discipline for a civil concourse?
Let us face facts; the generation y's have a much higher proportion of what appear to be people with little interest in school, common sense, or ability to discern with whom to partner!
They must be hopped up or bragged upon constantly. They require wild gatherings constantly with like characters.
For some unknown reason they have no self Confidence.
The "future" to them may never occur, except for possibly tomorrow and its 100 cell calls.
They want little pride in a job, get pregnant so they can't be expected to struggle with making their own way, or impregnate others and abandon them monetarily!
I find myself talking to such on here now and have decided to stop it. They are pretty much hopeless at this juncture.

STOP calling people you do not know vile names.

STOP making assumptions about people you know nothing about.

STOP saying things that are nasty and hurtful to others.

STOP trying to be "cute" or "clever" at the expense of others.

Perhaps you could then:

START to take others' feelings into consideration before making off the wall remarks.

START reading what you post several times before you finalize it. And when you have overstepped the boundaries of good tase or written nothing but drivel--delete it.

Then maybe you could START to think more of yourself and others and people would start to respect you and your opinions.

Sage won't quit, at most he will pick yet one more identity that will take us at least two or three post to identify as $age or nitpickers, or dollar or d.smith or bonkers, etc, etc.

Don't you think? Hutch, please don't tell me that coming to this site over a period of time turns you into a Sage or several others here who seem one card short of a deck. I enjoy tremendously reading the postings of so many people, be it about fishing, kayaking, or just talking. I just can't understand how mean-spirited some people can be. But, since many of you have been commenting for a long time and seem to remain kind and able to agree to disagree and still remain friendly, I would have to assume these people (Sage and his/her ilk are that way by choice). Thanks for your comments. I have seen people who were kicked off and I can see by the tone of their posts that they are the same people. I am sure that Sage by any other name would be Sage. Have a good evening.

I actually laughed out loud at that. I haven't laughed out loud since I heard about Devan. Thank you so much. I, too, hope they find the right meds for him.

You sound like you are doing good. Glad I could make you laugh.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend Devan.

I have been wondering what happened after you took that job, and then we didn't hear from you. It sound's like things are better.

How is your baby and how is your husbands back?? I hope that things continue to get better and better for you.
