Richard Lewis Giddings, 53, Peachtree City, died June 25, 2008. He had resided here since 1983.He was a veteran of Vietnam and earned the Bronze Star for bravery. He enjoyed motorcycles, golf, and hunting. A private memorial service will be held at a future date. Survivors include his wife, Merilee Giddings; parents, Wilma and George Giddings; a son, Derek and Pam Giddings; grandchildren, Hanna and Claire Giddings; a brother, George Giddings Jr.,; and a sister, Carol Giddings. Memorial donations can be made to Heartland Hospice, 1335 Lake Ridge Pkwy., Riverdale, GA 30296. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
