SummerGrove is proof that Newnan is quickly becoming a preferred destination for new homebuyers. In 2005, the community had over 270 home sales for the year and surpassed 1,700 sales since the community’s inception in 1998.

In fact, the stellar home sales in 2005 landed the community with Coweta’s number one ranking and is one of the top sellers in the Atlanta area.

Peggy Sullivan, vice president of marketing at Pathway Communities, believes there are multiple reasons for SummerGrove’s success, “Outstanding amenities, variety of home styles and price ranges, its elite builder team, and its desirable Newnan location are key factors for SummerGrove home buyers when making a purchase decision.”

SummerGrove’s top-selling features include miles of walking trails and pedestrian paths, a 100-acre lake, a tennis complex, a competition-size swimming pool, and an 18-hole public golf course. The SummerGrove water park features a lazy river ride, water sprays, and a large water mushroom.

Sullivan points out that with all the new activity planned for 2006, SummerGrove may very well exceed 2005 sales records. “Many great things are on the horizon for SummerGrove in 2005,” said Sullivan. “A third aquatic venue is planned, homes on the golf course are available from the $200s and Lake Shore, a new neighborhood offering custom and cottage-style is sure to create intrigue among consumers.”

Homebuyers looking for a variety of designer model homes need to look no further than SummerGrove. The community has 16 models to give homebuyers a feel for the different home style offerings. Homes are priced from the mid $100s to over $700,000 and range from traditional to turn-of-the-century to custom.

In addition, the community offers a unique technology program, including structured wiring for every home, the potential for ultra-fast Internet access, and Atlanta’s first interactive community Intranet.

SummerGrove is at the intersection of Lower Fayetteville Road and Shenandoah Blvd. in Newnan. The Information Center is open daily 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m. For more information, call 770-252-9000 or visit www.summergrove.com.

My family is relocating from Fayette to Coweta and I was looking at Summergrove which I think is a beautiful development. The high school that is zoned for that area is East Coweta High School. I have looked up the school's score statistics and different factors through the GA Dept of Ed website and it wasn't exactly outstanding. But of course, it's just numbers. Could anybody from Summergrove tell me if they have high schoolers that go to there and give me what their thoughts and experiences are. Is Summergrove worth it for this high school? I know I have to make the choice on my own, but the more "inside" information I have, the better choice I can make for my daughter.
