Fallujah was a Political Cluster #@*%! The Marines reported that they were finding all of the said nationalities flowing in as insurgents. They were told to take the city because of the 30 or so insurgent leaders within the city. But, because they didn't use the proper "channel" through the ambassador, they were told to cease fire. That means they could not fire back. (i.e. cluster #@*%!)

Keep in mind this was in 2004, when gas prices at the pump were still $1.30/gal. Katrina didn't hit until 2005, when the upward turn of prices began. Sorry, I'm getting off track. Or am I?

What I was getting at, is that non-oil producing countries were getting into the act of terrorism and insurgency. Factually, it was foreign state sponsored. I don't see how oil has anything to do with the peaceful religion of jihad. They just hate us plain and simple. This battle has been going on since waaayyyy before the discovery of oil and SUVs.

As for what 'lil Bush has done...well, I'm still waiting for another attack on our turf. What's that? None since 9/11. We've lived under a blanket of comfort on our homefront for quite some time now, haven't we? Cutting taxes to increase the economy. That's worked for awhile now too. I'll give you No Child Left Behind. I'm still waiting for an outcome on that one, but I fear there won't be good. Just a very large bill.
