Commissioner Forum Recap

Did many people attend the forum on Monday? Here's what I heard.

County Commish Post 1 - Dunn and Horgan both did a good job. Too bad one of them isn't running for Post 2. Dunn was longwinded but had lots of information.

County Commish Post 2 - Neithr Frady or Furhman had a clue. Don't expect much out of this post for the next 4 years.

County Commish Post 3 - Pfeiffer and Kourjian were both good. Hearn seemed lost and out of place. Kourjian, like Dunn, was longwinded but both he a Pfeffer were prepared.

Tax Commish - the lowlite of the forum was Wells vs. Wingo. When they stuck to the facts it was informative, but the tone of the night was something out of Jerry Springer.

Nevertheless, Dunn, Pfeifer and Korajian are good speakers.

Horgan never really did have clue. Dunn is dangerous.

Frady is over the hill, but predictable. His opponent is a fish out of water.

Hearn is not worthy of consideration - he is a government groupie.

Wells and Wingo? Who cares?

I be voting for the incumbents - except for Pfeifer - there I'm going with Kourajian.

And you can still vote for some of these incumbents then you had your mind made up before you went and did not listen.

Clueless, that defines the rambling nonsense that Horgan tried to layout so unsuccessfully. I guess you consider people who tell the truth dangerous.

Frady is indeed over the hill and it is time to go. Fuhrman has a long way to go but he is obviously intelligent and willing to serve.

Kourajian talks a good game, but how can somebody who had trouble making the city council meetings in PTC expect to have any impact on the county commission. We do agree that Hearn is a one trick pony (transportation), but Pfieffer of the three was the best prepared and articulate. He seems to have pretty much fully recovered from his health problems of a few years back.

Wells and Wingo - You should care. I am amazed that someone who brings a shotgun to the office, runs a re-election campaign from the tax office, lies about credentials and certifications, and runs rough shod over his employees and then puts a letter in the other paper claiming that they all support him, is even seriously considered for re-election.

Thanks for the info on the Tuesday forum, I tried to go but ended up at Stars Mill High School. My comments were about the forum at the library on Monday.

Did not attend, but a bit surprised at your comments regarding Hearn. Would have thought he would have shown better.
