If you were on the cart paths this morning, you would have seen me in 'church', appreciating the beauty of the woods, nature and this wonderful planet that 'god' has given all of us.

We don't need to be inside a man-made structure called 'Church' to feel close to God/god.

And my sentiments exactly. Where better to give thanks for all the wonders of this great world and where else can you feel closer to God?

Chuckle!!!! Perhaps you need to become a pro and give up the HVAC (air conditioning) business. Instead of taking all summer to make that first million you can play just one tournament and take the rest of the year off.

I'm getting ready to whip them old fish again. Funny thing, every time I get into the water the tide rises. I got to loose this darn weight.

Some need to be recognized by other humans as a security blanket. They also like the social aspect of it.

I'll never understand the yelling and screaming of prayers in public.

I would like to see people coming out of church, that behave as though they acutally heard a chrisian message.

Something like do onto others, as you would have them do onto you.

I would like to see people coming out of church who have taught their kids some manners and treat their neighbors with respect. I would like to see kids who have been taught right from wrong, even if the laws and oridinances are only for the "little people".

I would like to see people coming out of church, who were respectful of their server when they go out to eat after said,... boring church.

I would like to see people coming out of church who are patient in the long lines at the grocery store, instead of cussing under their breath.

You see we all have a long list of things we want.

Good luck with yours.

I do not need to go to a temple because I am a temple. I worship inner peace and tranquility.

I am not considered eye candy anyhow.

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into the closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 6:5-6

You are absolutely right. One should not go to church to be seen. It is a place to gather with fellow believers to worship God and learn more about the word of God. I love the time I spend with my brothers and sisters. It's not a requirement just an extra blessing. May God Bless you.
