Don't want you to say names here or share any details. But I'm curious about who the surgeon is. The head of general surgery there has proved to be a good friend to us and treats my wife's case as though she were his sister. Um, starts with an "S". I am simply in awe of the professionalism and compassion that I have witnessed in some of those people--particularly this fellow I have in mind.

Listen, at this point, my car knows the way to Emory so well that I could give the command, fall asleep behind the wheel, and wake up in the parking garage. I know from experience that it is risky business to break anonymity on a site like this, but, really, if ever my wife and I could be of help in getting you to and from that excellent place, etc., we would be thrilled to do so. (After over 50 days/nights of staying there with my wife since last September, I could be hired on as a tour guide for the hospital and clinics.
