China Loves Them Some Coal

It only takes 5-10 days for all of China's coal pollution to reach the USA. Gee, real glad they are a signer of the totally useless Kyoto Protocol that they aren't bound by! Good times.....

It can be used with scrubbers. It will cost 30% more to scrubb the dust out and dispose of it. They don't want to scrub it until they have to do so. Now that oil is at $150 or better, they will start scrubbing it and get $100 a ton for coal instead of $40 or less.

As to China, I can only tell you their logic for using lots of coal and not scrubbing it. They say that we used it for 200 years without scrubbing it, got way ahead of them doing so, so they are going to catch up!!!!! Two wrongs do not make a right, but it will get them what they want! I know coal!
