Kevin, as a former resident of Tarboro, NC, I can guarantee that such an attitude as hers would not survive either there or in Goldsboro.My teen & formative yrs of 1955-1959 (when I joined the US Army for a 21 yr career) left me with memories that are nowhere near as ancient as hers--girls & young women--should we wish to differentiate--were more inclined to make up their own minds and in some cases, didn't hesitate to let you know about the decision!

I gave up trying to figure women out ohhh, about 16 years ago. That is when my daughter came along and helped me realize that "I am wrong and she is right. Period." What a great girl!!! She helps me keep it all in perspective. I've spent a good bit of time in your town (Tarboro)as well. North Carolina has strong retirement location potential. Nothing beats mountains on one end, great beaches on the other, and a cool college town or two in between.
