I very seriously doubt that this would worry any Obama supporter. Those who support Obama know that there exists a certain percentage of people who, for varies reason (I think key among these reasons are the color of his skin and the religion and origin of his father), think that Obama is a closet-case Muslim. This charge is outlandish, however, it has pull with those who need a proxy (or excuse) for racism and those too simple minded to take a serious look at Obama.

If you look hard enough, you could find a billion other examples just like this one. You could do the same thing to McCain, or anyone else. The difference is that there's not a population in the US willing to believe this about McCain despite it being ridiculous.

Obama supporters are worried about people dumb enough to believe Obama is a Muslim in hiding are actually going to vote for McCain for this reason. I seriously doubt there is a significant percentage of Obama supporters out there who really worry that he could possible be some kind of crazy Islamic extremist waiting to take over our country through the office of the presidency. Even if that was his plan, a utterly retarded as the suggestion is, it won’t work anyway due to the way our government is structured and the fact that he could never command loyalty from our armed forces in such a situation.

This whole conversation is a sad, sad commentary on what people are willing to believe…mostly, but not totally, because of racism.
