Why would you want this man to represent you...

Let’s meet Rudjard Hayes:

Wanted to be Solicitor in Coweta- wasn’t qualified

Wanted to be a judge in Coweta- didn’t make the list (not qualified)

He moved here 12 months ago to run for District Attorney (he doesn’t care about Fayette County)

His children go to private school (he doesn’t like Fayette County schools)

Kept his house in Coweta County with Homestead exemption on it so he could move back if the election thing didn’t work out (He had homestead exemption on TWO homes at the same time)

Left child molestation cases “unworked on” in his desk when he left : with Grand Jury a few days away. Those victims didn’t know if their cases were being handled or not

He took credit for ALL cases won in the DA’s office, not just the ones he worked on

Do you want this man for DA in our community?
Think about that!

anybody who knows anything about the law or has spent any amount of time in a DA's Office knows you don't simply have one chance to indict a case, then it is gone. With most felony cases you have six years to indict, even longer on certain child molestation cases due to the age of the victim at the time the offense is alleged to have been committed. If you are not ready to go before the current term of the grand jury, you wait for the next to come around. Not the ideal thing to do but it happens all the time.

Furthermore, why is an ADA doing paralegal work that the investigators are capable of and should be handling? The answer is that don't we only have one investigator in the Fayette Office, or is it two? One left for a short time but has since returned.

Why is this? Because as Mr. Hayes is trying to tell us Ballard doesn't know what he is doing and should be replaced...I mean fired.

Lack of adequate service to crime victims, soft on criminals including child molesters of all people, inefficient appropriation of resources and personnel. Just what else is there? I think this is enough.

Here you got "Barney Rubble" who is the latest screen name for the exiled Grif Guy. Who's next...

The problem with Scooter Ballard and DA's that routinely cut perps loose is that law enforcement will take their foot off the gas when working cases. Why bother. Why take the risk. Look at some of the DA's in Metro Atlanta. The cops figure why bother.
Take for example the child molestation cases. A lot of times you have a family that is partially covering up or denying. You have a child who not only doesn't want to testify but also has family members discouraging or threatening them not to testify. That last thing you want is a DA who has gone on record saying that child witnesses are not reliable. That is not the DA's job. That is the jury's job. Fletcher Sams (who is now a judge) understood that as DA. If the Grand Jury indicted 'em, Sams took it to trial.

The problem with Scooter the Sophist is that he makes these decisions for the jury. Wrong.

Stop allowing Bam Bam to pound on your head with that club. Come to your senses so you can realize the Barney Babble you're spewing.

Wanted to be Solicitor in Coweta- wasn’t qualified

Oh come on. If Steve Harris could do the job, then any bonehead could be a solicitor. Of course he was qualified you idiot. So he didn't get the job. What's the point? Puzzled

Wanted to be a judge in Coweta- didn’t make the list (not qualified

What a misleading and disingenuous statement. Any lawyer can put themselves on a list for a judicial opening. Just because they aren't selected doesn't make them unqualified. Over the years I've seen quite a few "qualified" lawyers place their names on "the list" without getting selected or considered. The fact is the majority of the time the selection is political rather than being based on qualifications. What a dunder head statement Barney. Do you think the voters are that stupid to buy into that Ballard campaign curve ball?

He moved here 12 months ago to run for District Attorney (he doesn’t care about Fayette County

So what. Doesn't mean he doesn't' care about Fayette County or the even bigger picture, the Griffin Judicial Circuit. Meaningless statement.

His children go to private school (he doesn’t like Fayette County schools

Again, So freaking what? The man desires the best education for his children so that means he hates the Fayette County Schools? There are tons of folks who send their kids to private schools for various reasons. Another baseless and stupid comment from the dunderheaded Barney Boy.

Kept his house in Coweta County with Homestead exemption on it so he could move back if the election thing didn’t work out (He had homestead exemption on TWO homes at the same time

Another dunderheaded statement. Every homeowner goes through a transition period where they are switching their homestead exemptions over. Check back next year. If that situation remains then I'll join you in turning Hayes in. Until then..... stop throwing around your girly slaps.

Left child molestation cases “unworked on” in his desk when he left : with Grand Jury a few days away. Those victims didn’t know if their cases were being handled or not

Uhhh... this is getting old. Okay, I'll address another dunderheaded girly slap. What was he supposed to do? Take them with him??? Puzzled The dude quit because he became disgusted with the fact that Ballard specialized in plea bargains over prosecutions. I would have quit too. Why bust your butt on a case that you know your boss is 'Ready To Plea Out' on? Besides that. Are you telling me that Ballard's staff was so pathetic that they were unable to handle a couple of cases during the vacancy of one of it's staff members? Guess the next time one of my employees moves on to newer hunting grounds, I'll whine about an order they failed to process before they left.

One thing I do fault Hayes for is leaving those predators in the hands of Ballard to befriend, bond with, and to free such as he has.

He took credit for ALL cases won in the DA’s office, not just the ones he worked on

Oh he did? Did he? I don't recall Hayes taking credit for trying to free Ballard's Sexual Predator Prayer Partner.

I don't recall Hayes taking credit for freeing the Whitewater Columbine Kid Wannabe.

I don't recall Ballard turning lose the 31 year old predator who preyed on a 15 year old child.

I don't recall Hayes taking credit for jailing Black Kids for fisticuffs in the out house while letting the allowing the Columbine In A Trunk perp go free.

I don't recall Hayes taking credit for allowing armed golf cart robbers to be treated as juveniles rather than taking them off our streets.

I don't recall Hayes taking credit for dismissing the charges on the couple that was raising their children in a filthy hell hole complete with feces, urine and other rotten garbage throughout the house.

I don't recall Hayes taking credit for being the Poster Boy DA for the Criminal Defense Attorney Crowd. Evil

Want more???

That has got to be the most pitiful defense of our soft on crime DA that I've seen as to date.
