Realtor's Advertising!

I read most of the local newspapers and glance at the big ads.
With the exception of car dealer ads and of course food ads, I have never seen as much advertising by Realtors before.

Nothing is selling! Why do they show us hundreds of salespeople--pages of them--and brag about their good jobs?

Then I figured it out! We live in a "positive" talking generation--no matter the dire circumstances.
Apparently this is a ploy to make everyone think people are buying and selling houses at the prices they want!
Can someone tell me where a good quantity of new homes are being built right now?

How many homes do you think are currently under contract on GA MLS in Fayette County?

Can I assume from your comments you would say zero?

Technically, I should not have said "nothing" is selling. Nothing is selling at the price desired!
The total amount selling per month now as opposed to say a year or so ago at full price, is not a good comparison!
Have you noticed how many "new" homes are now being started? How many planned ones are on hold?
It will get worse, not better, and no amount of happy talk will help!
The money people screwed up "big time" and you know it. They ran an unprofessional racket!
The government will eventually bail them out--I suppose that is what the republicans want, isn't it?

Everyone should just give up...and come out of their caves when you say it is safe. Oh the Humanity!!

Frankly, I'm glad the new homes are slowing down. New homes means growth, and sometimes you need to bring things into check.

Give up! Who said ANYTHING about giving up?
Being incomplete with statements or actually falsifying facts about the current economy is more like FOX News than you

What you need to do is recognize the serious problem we have and do your part to help get it back on track! Saying it doesn't exist leaves it to more idiots who got us there in the first place!

I think you will find in November that many of us haven't given up over the past eight years and you will see some progress start to occur for the benefit of people--not entities!
