Cyclist's picture

Please take time during this long weekend to remember the sacrifices that many have made for our country.

Here's a touching video about two old veterans.

I enjoyed that video so much, Cy. I just watched Pres. Bush lay the wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier in Arlington Cemetery. We can never forget the sacrifices our military and their families have made for all of us. I salute all of you on this site that have served our country. God Bless You All and Thank You!

Is Captain Steve your son?

I'll be remembering you and your son during this special weekend. A great big ole civilian salute to you and missed treasure.

Many thanks!!! And proud, you better believe it. I would be a liar if I told you that my eyes were completely dry.

It will not be long before the "hutchcete" will be walking across and getting that diploma and crossing over and making you both so proud.

Speaking of that, I remember an old Kodak commercial that says it all. It's very touching.

It's going to take at least a cement block and probably some smoking on top of that to keep them small.

I can testify to the fact that the "smoking" doesn't work. Gotta try something else. Keep the faith.

Just five over bogie golf--if you took no mulligans and counted them all and didn't move any balls in the fairway. Or does the drought allow P/U and clean?

Let me guess, that ball went kind of straight. Smiling
