None Dare Call It 'Appeasement'

"But when Mr. Bush, in addressing Israel's Knesset, compared those who want to negotiate with today's terrorists and tyrants to an American senator in 1939 who lamented that Hitler's march into Poland might have been avoided "if only I could have talked to Hitler," Obama, other Democrats and the mainstream media went ballistic."

Beavis, I hate to break it to you, but the act of talking to someone you disagree with is not "appeasement", our lame duck president's claims to the contrary notwithstanding.

Great clip on Hardball two nights ago about how little right-wingers know about appeasement:

This guy Kevin James babbles on and on like BPR.

If there's one thing that Liberals are experts in, it's appeasement to radical dictators. Just ask Jimmy Carter.

Appeasement apparently depends upon who is doing it!
Bush repeatedly kissing and holding hands with the old foul King of Saudi Arabia---the country that furnished most of the plane pilots in 2001, and is responsible for the price of gasoline and many other things to come made of petroleum, seems to me to be "begging," instead of appeasement!
What do the Bushes like about that bunch of crude old dudes anyway?
