If the November election

gets as bad as this blog is becoming, we are in for a shameful few months!

There is nothing wrong with saying what you think and know about items of concern to all of us, but to not be able to express yourself back to someone, when you disagree, without threats of personal harm or of job security, indicates your lack of ability to enter into civil discourse.

We need to talk about our candidates and our opinions of them; we need to know what our local officials are doing with the tax money; we need to know what our law enforcement is doing to and for us; and we need to have a sense of humor doing it since we aren't making any decisions of life or death here!

I fear we might be in for trouble nationally due to the particular choices we have ended up with for President, but all can be rectified by our Congress and our Supreme Court--regardless of who is President.

People "fight" in a ring for money, not on a stupid "blog."

Some of these comments that I have read recently are almost slanderous concerning a particular candidate running for Sheriff. It really started to become comical and I chose not to read most of them. Please keep it clean bloggers. Can we not just focus on qualifications, etc for our very own local elections at least?
