Fayetteville police have arrested five teenagers from Fulton County for an incident at The Banquet Hall off Glynn Street on Jan. 27.

The arrests were made in connection with an argument between gang members from Creekside High School in Fulton County ... ending with one person firing a gunshot into the air, police said.

Police searched one of the suspects' homes and found gang paraphernalia and "gang bibles," which are basically books of the gang's rules and information which must be memorized, police have said.

Arrested were Xavier Fowler, 18; Chaz Weaver, 17; Cedric Beavers, 18; and a juvenile, 16. All were charged with felony counts of gang activity. Fowler and Weaver were also charged with simple battery.

A sixth suspect has been identified and has an outstanding arrest warrant also for gang activity. Police have not identified that person.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing, focusing on others who may have participated in the incident, officials said.

we are gonna have a good reputation for a being a bad place to commit crime. KEEP IT UP!!! With so many other places to be a criminal in the metro area, why choose Fayette?

Throw the book at them, give them the max sentence. Let the thug types know that the best place to act stupid is nowhere in Fayette county.

Good job FPD!

Exactly, at least somewhere out of Fayette County. It is too nice of a County to let these thugs take it over.
