A citizen’s tip led police to arrest three Fayetteville teenagers Monday for a burglary from a residence at Cobblestone Apartments, officials said.

During the investigation officers located the car described by the caller, Fayetteville police said. Inside that car was an Xbox 360 video game system taken from the apartment, police said.

Three of the five people in the car were arrested for burglary: Akiel Setram, 19; Andoniya Gardner, 19; and a 15-year-old juvenile. All three are from Fayetteville, police said.

Two other passengers in the car, who were not present during the burglary but were picked up afterwards were not charged with burglary. One of those passengers, Roderick Eberhart, 19, of Fayetteville, was charged with possession of marijuana, police said. The other person was questioned and released, police said.

The apartment complex is in east Fayetteville, off Ga. Highway 54.

Add home invasion and burglary to the list of recent crimes in Fayette county. When are some of you going to stop accusing me of racist speculation and going to realize what's happening here? Gang activity in high schools, robberies of local restaurants/fast food chains, guns pulled on people, coke being sold in Peachtree City restrooms, and so on, and what are we doing about it? Bickering about watering restrictions.
All this while adjacent Clayton county will soon lose accreditation and Fayette county will be flooded with more of the same. It's time to get serious.

Can just see the whining and crying at the trial .... but, where were the parents of the 15 year old when the 'juvenile' was allowed to 'run with the wrong crowd'????

What did you want the "parents" (using the term very loosely, for irresponsible breeders) to do? What? Discipline their kid? What, set boundries? Deliver consequences for bad behavior?

What were they supposed to do, teach it right from wrong?

Who are you to expect them to do their job as parents?

What does rap music have to do with it? It wasn't said that they were listening to rap music while committing the crime. Country music might be their music of choice!

What in the world do you do to have the time to 'research' such crap?

I agree with Army Brat on this one - as did the other riders on the train. She was under the influence of a lot more than rap music. The other riders on the train tried to subdue her, unsuccessfully. Anyone watching this should praise the restraint exhibited by the riders on the train - and embarrassed that an elderly lady had to be subjected to such a 'show'. Usually, when an 'elder' is on a public vehicle, the profanity stops - out of respect. I hope the judge will give this girl a 'stiff' sentence. . . and if her mother/family sees this - a swift kick in the buttocks!

fine, upstanding young lady has been incarcerated, if this is the one I read about today. Maybe that ugly little show will work for the judge. If it were up to me, that poor little lady that she was intimidating would be allowed to "slap her jaws til they ring like a bell"! (That was a favorite saying of my grandmother's when we were being sassy)
