Obama Is A Marxist

BPR's picture

Obama is a marxist, this is very interesting.

Click Obama

To think this guy is going to be our next President? It's hard to respect a leader that is a closet marxist.

It's sad our country has come to this point that it does not matter what Obama is they will vote for him.

Obama is certainly NOT a Marxist.

Someday, Beeps, you will learn that just because Sean Hannity says something, doesn't make it true.

Most intelligent people understand this.

You absolutely slay me man (or woman, whatever the case may be). There are several old Yiddish words for people like you.....all begin with Schm---. Anyhow, the Torah forbids us to cause UNNECESSARY destruction or SUFFERING to G-ds other creatures. There are prohibitions against wantonly cutting down trees and against taking chicks in the presence of the mother bird. Just so ya know....so when you mock others as being so-called "tree huggers" you are mocking the word and I might add, the one true law of G-d.

"Picture a bright blue ball, just spinning, spinnin free,
Dizzy with eternity.
Paint it with a skin of sky,
Brush in some clouds and sea,
Call it home for you and me.
A peaceful place or so it looks from space,
A closer look reveals the human race.
Full of hope, full of grace
Is the human face,
But afraid we may lay our home to waste."

"once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right"
"listen to the thunder shouting, "I AM, I AM, I AM"

;>} Have a grateful day ;>}

"How would you know what a Christian is?"

Well, being raised as a Presbyterian, I'm very aware of what the tenets of Christianity are. So, even though I've chosen not to embrace any form of organized religion anymore, including Christianity, I do believe in the wisdom of many of their teachers such as Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, and the Bab (Bahai' religion).

You just always seem to contradict yourself by telling us what a devout Christian you are, following the Bible and Jesus and going to your SBC church, but then you post junk and crap about Obama and mock sniffles and yardman all the time when they expose your ridiculous posts.

I guess it just seems very hypocritical to me to say one thing, and then act another way....

Once again, I am called on to state my faith publicly here on this blog. I have told myself over and over not to get suckered into doing this, but the Pharisees constantly beset me and I am sore afraid. As our fellow blogger BPR will certainly point out to you, my words will probably not EXACTLY match the words I used when describing my faith to her. But then, that is sort of the point of being a Pharisee, isn't it.

I have faith that good will ultimately triumph over evil. And I have faith the we will ALL be judged as to how we lived our lives in relationship to how we are called to live our lives {note the change there, BPR}. And I know that I have not lived my life anywhere near as perfectly as I am called to live my life, but I will be judged on that, ultimately, as we all will.

The part that BPR will not mention to you is where I told her that I would not belittle her faith and I asked her {please} not to belittle mine. I have tried mightly to uphold my end of that unilateral bargain. However, I seem to provide a good bit of mirth for her in the way I express myself. I can only assume that it is because there have been times, in my life, when I have been challenged to practice my faith, pubically, when to avoid doing so would have been the easier path. I hope that I will be judged on the decisions I have made at those times and not on my moments of weakness, though there are more of the latter than the former.

So much for my public confession of faith. It is not written in any hymnbook anywhere, it is not recited in unison by rote from the mouths of any congregation anywhere. It is written on my heart and I am sorry that my words do not do it justice. As for the "keep the faith" statement at the end of my posts, all that says is for people to look inside themselves, to find what it is that they choose to have faith in, and to keep that faith....let no one dissuade them. Keep the faith.

Even a dead fish can go with the flow.

I did not belittle your faith. I asked you to explain it to him.

You belittle me constantly, either by yourself, or along for the ride with your friends.

It's okay. I know who I am in Christ.

I am sad that you can't see that part of me. I have other people that do. Again, not that I am perfect but I know Christ that paid the price for when I sin. I am secure in Him.Smiling I don't need man's approval.

Your father sounds like a wise man to me. I have had my fill of most churches and do most of my meditation and "worship" alone or with only afew others. I just can't handle the politics in most churches that I have been to and also don't believe in what alot of the churches espouse like the inerrancy of the Bible.

Submitted by sageadvice on Wed, 05/14/2008 - 6:24am.

If one loses their religion every time they hear a Wright or a Jessee Jackson, or even anyone---then they didn't have any, except for what they thought everyone SAID they had.
Faith is something ingrained that has little if anything to do with what others say---any others---particular ORGANIZED religion. Organized religion is now a social affair.

You are not doing any favors for Christ by representing Christianity the way that you do. If anything, if non-believers see you as an example of what a Christian is, you are doing a wonderful job leading them AWAY from it. Have you realized this? I am not attacking Christianity, this is directed at YOU and your condescending attitude.
Try to display GRACE and VIRTUE and then make your claims for Christ. You'll get a better response. I guarantee it.

It is that particular brand of Christian that has sent me fleeing in terror from church and why I haven't been back since. It is also one of the main reasons why I avoid Kroger at all cost and shop instead at Publix because they don't allow people to stand out front and accost the poor souls who are only trying to come in and buy some milk. I have experienced some disturbing things in front of Kroger's doors including having a trio of sour-faced "Christians" demand - in an inexplicably angry tone - to know whether or not I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior.
There are prices you have to pay for living in a warmer climate. One of them is that you have to deal with a larger population of Bible-thumpers who refuse to think seriously about what they believe and why. Most of the time if you ask them their response is eerily close to the Sunday school song which states, "For the Bible tells me so."

It is not as though the religious fanatics had set up a table by the entrance and tried to sell their beliefs like girl scout cookies. However, because Kroger does not protect their customers in the way that Publix does (unless they've changed the rules and I am unaware) there are those who still feel perfectly comfortable with handing out tracts and attempting to save the souls of innocent shoppers. Walmart is another religious hot spot.
It doesn't matter at which Kroger this occurred. It didn't happen this morning, after all, and I mentioned the incident only to illustrate the type of "Christians" that nauseate me. Phoning every Kroger manager in the county would be an unwise use of your time, though it might bring some entertainment to the Kroger employees. The issue is not with Kroger's policies, or lack thereof. It is with the "Christians" who use their religion to feel better about themselves - and better than their neighbors - and who harass others in the process.

Kroger is aware of their policies. They let the Salvation Army and the Girl Scouts and other organizations set up shop out front. They do this for the convenience and the assistance of these organizations. But because they allow this, they also allow any Tom, Dick and Hail Mary to mill about out front and demand that you repent or you're damned to hell. Publix, if I am not mistaken, will even boot out the Girl Scouts. Which I appreciate because I don't like having a troop of cute little girls trying to bully me into buying their hydrogenated cookies.
What I'm saying is that their policies are not hurting their business. By the same token, Publix could be hurting their own business for not allowing people to stand out front and distribute tracts or high fructose corn syrup for a good cause.
My cover's been blown anyway. Smiling

I have a difficult time understanding why so many people believe that Christianity and tree-hugging have to be mutually exclusive. It seems to me that Christians should have more of an appreciation for nature than non-Christians, as they believe that nature was consciously created by a loving God and therefore something worthy of appreciation and, dare I say it, a kind of "worship". However, in my experience, it seems that an agnostic is usually more likely than a Christian to recycle their Dasani bottle. I have never understood this phenomenon but have seen it time and time again where those who believe that the Earth was a mere accident are those who have a greater respect for it.
I count myself among both parties. I have read the Bible AND I know how to get to the recycling center.

BPR, just read 2 Timothy 3:12 to remind yourself of why some people are so ugly or rude to you. I believe you are a wonderful person with a great personality that loves the Lord and is living a godly life, although you do come across as being young or naive in the things you say sometimes. People still shouldn't make fun of you for that. Most people who aren't Christians believe that if you profess to be a Christian you should be perfect, which is not the case at all. I see a lot of others on here that claim to be Christians (or some other faith), but they attack you also. It's probably best not to respond to them at all.
I know you want to be everyone's friend, but that is not possible. You are only called to love everyone as a human being, but you don't have to like everyone.
But please continue to post the articles on Obama, they keep things interesting!

Maybe you aren't understanding what everyone is trying to tell you; or maybe, you are faking it!

In any case here are your daily errors for just this one comment:

I am use (sp) (should be "used") to rude...

As to your comment about your child not using the net....fascists is simply suggesting that the child must be doing your writing!

No one understands why you want Sniffles so badly! To say "THIS is so funny," and not explain what THIS means is confusing grammar.

And, to say: "this is my life"....what do you mean? Sniffles is your life, maybe?

If you do teach children and if you do have a legal teaching certificate and if you can't speak or write any better than you do....it is no wonder that our children don't feel the need to do better!

Tell me why you continuously irritate people...not with what you say....but the improper way that you say it?
We do worry if people who speak as you do also teach legitimately in our schools. I think there is a lot more to what you do than you have told us!

It certainly is not necessary to take the time on here to go back and correct to perfection...but to make sense is important.
