The Flat Rock Lady Eagles won the Fayette County Middle School Volleyball Championship for the second year in a row last week in front of a capacity crowd at Whitewater High School. Fans, including the FRMS "Bleacher Creatures," cheered as the Eagles bumped, set and spiked their way to victory.

"This is a tremendous team filled with unbelievable talent and potential," said head coach and Sandy Creek varsity coach Paul Collins. "They never give up and work so well together as a team. I am very excited about their future in this sport."

From left to right, front row: Chelsea Cruver, Bria Lain, Jennifer Needham, Kayla Jones, Alexsandra Diaz. Middle: Samantha Bryan, Ashlyn Bodkin, Kinsey Waters, Allie MacFall, Allie Davenport and Ebonne Ugbo. In the back row are Head Coach Paul Collins, Assistant Coach Karen Chandler.

The 8th grade Lady Eagles also went undefeated, for the second year in a row. I think that should be added because that is quite an accomplishment.
