Drive-thru rage: gun pulled at Fayetteville McDonald's

A disgruntled customer pointed a gun at a McDonald's employee late Tuesday night before driving off, Fayetteville Police said Wednesday afternoon.

The victim told police that the customer had quarreled with him the day before but there was no information about the substance of that argument, said Capt. Steve Crawshaw of the Fayetteville Police Department.

The victim told police that the suspect, a black male in a black Chevy Impala, pulled up to the drive-thru window and said "It's you again," and then pointed the gun at the employee, Crawshaw said.

No verbal threat was made and the suspect drove off. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect's vehicle, Crawshaw said.

The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m.

The guy should have gone to Burger King if he wanted to "have it your way".

OK sorry for the bad joke, this one just begs for it.

He shouldn't be that hard to find. Have DMV run a search for the black Chevy Impala with Fayette or possibly Clayton tags, black male, and an approximate age range. Who knows what you might come up with. I betcha FPD has more than that to go on. Hope they bust his sorry ((self edited)).

....... Still waiting for the gun control nuts to use this as a reason not to expand concealed carry priviledges for CC permit holders.

I think they should for sure check Clayton - perhaps along with everyone being allowed to carry a gun we should have a law, like the law against children being on the roads after a certain hour, against Clayton residents being in Fayette after a certain hour - no, I know that's not fair, all Clayton residents aren't bad and this guy could be here in Fayette - but Fayette needs to stop taking this and stand up for our city and county - let these criminals know they need to think before they act in our county.

I think you are asking a LOT for Clayton criminals to THINK before they commit a crime in Fayette County!
I am for stopping taking "it" and will stand up against it. Where should I stand?

Have you ever thought of moving all robberies to daylight hours only. Simply arrest everyone near a store after dark or before daylight. Maybe I could stand somewhere near a store and watch?

Why do these awful people rob anyway? I have never robbed anyone with a gun or even at night. I did work for a corporation once who may have robbed people with loans they made, but I was the janitor (at night).
We have millions in jails all over the country, many for robbing. Those idiots still keep robbing knowing sooner or later, somewhere about robbery number 12, they will get caught. And they keep doing it.
How do they find time to work all day and rob all night? Are they able to sleep on the day job?

I know it takes more money than they have to own a car, rent a house, pay all insurances, have health insurance, support all their kids, and buy enough food and clothes and school expenses, but robbing me is not the answer is it?
They need to get another job or go to college or something so they can make more money.

And I do agree that if they would just THINK they would not cross the county line. Why do they do that anyway? Has everything already been robbed in Clayton?

Most employers have rules forbidding firearms! Go figure.
