PTC cops make 13th exploitation arrest

A north Georgia man was arrested yesterday by Peachtree City Police in an ongoing sting targeting Internet child predators, police said.

Brian Lee Carey, 41, of Cumming, made contact with an undercover police officer on the Internet whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl, police said. Carey arranged to meet the girl in Peachtree City to engage in a sex act, police said.

Carey is charged with violating the computer pornography and child exploitation act of 1999. His bond hearing will be held today at Fayette County Magistrate Court.

Carey is a manager of the Pro Golf store at the Mall of Georgia, police said.

This marks the 13th arrest Peachtree City police have made since beginning the undercover operation.

OK, fine. Good job on catching the male predators. How about shifting to the females for a while? There are plenty of desperate housewives right here in good ole Peachtree City who have teenage pool boys - but no pool. Doesn't get reported to anyone except the pool boy's male friends at school. To some this doesn't sound serious - it is even tolerated some places, but it is exactly the same crime - regardless of gender.

We were everywhere. I'm no longer interested, but back in the day if you were delivering groceries or bidding on a job or something ---- you would have been invited in - big time, if you get my drift.

Can't wait. Here's my list - 2 large Maalox, 7 pkgs. of Depends (medium) and some rubber gloves (don't get excited - they are for something else)

Directions are 74 south to Wisdom Road and then left into the nursing home. Can't give you the room number, but just walk into the lobby and I will recognize you. No later than 5:30 P. M. please.

Predators are Predators

I agree with the "pool boys" fall into this group of exploited children. However, if you are aware of a situation, then report it. If the authorities don't respond, then we have a problem. But we have to be sure this is not wishful thinking by teenage boys.
