Dems "commonsense" plan to reduce gas prices

Action Points: Where's Pelosi's "Commonsense" Plan on Gas Prices?

"The spiraling cost of energy in the United States today is not one of those things that is nobody’s fault, nor is it a matter of shared responsibility. The fault is absolutely, completely at the doorstep of the Democrat Party. Their Kool-Aid-cult attachment to environmental extremism, their ideological hostility to free markets and free trade, their barking threats of tax hikes on American energy production, their weak and indecisive foreign policy toward the Middle East, and their limousine-liberal NIMBY hypocrisy are not present on both sides of the aisle."

I did not know that right-wing denial could be distilled into 200 proof nonsense. I know it now.

we share a desire to put bullet holes in thugs. We both think big honkin ducted fan model airplanes are awesome, and predatory crimes really stink and must be countered here locally.

Unfortunately, posts like this one cause us to seriously part ways.

Not in my back yard is liberal?

How about school vouchers?

What was Jeb Bush's response, as Florida Governor, when The Dept of Energy wanted to put windmills on the Florida coast? It was the same reaction we got from Mass. I'd call that quite bi-partisan.

As to our energy costs, you are willfully ignoring facts.

1) The energy policies in place were enacted by a GOP Congress and GOP President. They have been kept in place by a minority that, unfortunately, has blocked veto-proof majority votes.

2) Ditto the economic policy

3)Ditto the foreign policy that has allowed Al Qaeda to RETURN TO PRE-9/11 STRENGTH! That is pathetic performance from our politicians, Beav. Chuck Hagel said it so accurately and boldly two years ago. This is a meat grinder situation that we keep inserting our best and bravest into.

Because I honestly have a new found affection and respect for you (not that you need either from me), I won't pile on with the GAO evaluation of "No Child Left Behind" or Abstinence Education. But, I will mention the $70 billion the President just asked for to continue turning the crank on the meat grinder.

Good night,

I stand corrected, even though I didn't write the article. (I just post em' to bring matters to peoples attention)

But Nancy did promise common sense solutions by the dems, and they have produced very little. They want to go after oil companies profits without looking at the profit margins or reducing taxes.
Heck, the government makes more money on the sale of gasoline than the oil companies do.

By the way, those weren't ducted fans on the A-10 - they were real jet engines that run on kerosene. (about $3,000 each)
