Not Again

Why is Greg Done and Linda running for office again. Did they not get the message last election. The two are up to something.

I don't know what's broke in the tax commissioner's office, so I can't fathom Wells' bid there.

As for Well Dunn the voters burnt him to a crisp last election as the old Johnson political machine steamrolled him. Those folks haven't moved away.

Plus, isn't he running Dave Simmons' sheriff bid.

I think the Citizen poll should be which one of those three will lose the WORST in the election.

so I can't fathom Wells' bid there.

Remember this: "Those that can't", often times seek government employment and pensions. The position of Tax Commissioner pays a very hefty salary not to mention future pension payouts. Ms. Wells has obviously failed at being both an attorney and an investment counselor. Otherwise, she would have no desire nor need to seek this full time job.

With those 3 it will be a tie between wells, done, and simmons. Especially now that people know that dumb DONE is for simmons.....that says it all.

Didn't we give you people a message during the last election? Lets turn this into an election stakes. My vote is it will be a 3 way tie as to who will lose by the most votes. What do I win? Besides a safe, nicer county to live in.

Considering the remorse people are having over voting for Eric Maxwell, the incompetence of the commission as it is composed now, and the very thin margin of Dunn's defeat, I'd say he's a shoe-in, even with the Randall is God crowd still against him.

As far as Wells vs. Wingo, who cares really? Why is tax commissioner even an elected post to begin with?

Simmons has zero chance, even if he had the best career in law enforcement possible prior to this. Fayette County isn't going to elect a black man to be sheriff. I remember the utter garbage spewed by Randall supporters when Ben Thomas ran against him and I'm sure it's all the talk at Melear's right now, though I guess they can't say things like "that boy has got a white wife" like they did concerning Thomas.
