200 Fayette homes on display this weekend

With perfect weather predicted for the weekend, the Fayette County Board of Realtors is hoping for a large turnout at a big open house. More than 200 homes will be open for the public to view during The Fayette County Board of Realtors-sponsored countywide open house weekend May 3 and 4.

Public affairs coordinator Vanessa Fleisch said the idea came from a member who had seen a similar open house occur in a different market with great results.

More than a dozen real estate companies are participating in the event, and a guide to the open house can be found on pages A8 and A9 in this edition.

Fleisch said the board has been extremely pleased by the wonderful response to the weekend by Realtors, their clients and customers.

Gary- Free Advice "CYA"

If your buyer needs to go to the bank to get a traditional loan, the house you're selling should be worth a minimum of $416,667 (based on the cash offered). If not, this will be considered an "illegal seller contribution". I'm all for free advertisement and buyer incentives, just make sure they're within the law! Big Brother just may be watching. What was your cell phone number again?....I may just show up as you have requested.
