The Peachtree City Dog Park Association will meet 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18 at the city recreation building off McIntosh Trail.

The public is invited to learn about plans for upcoming events and more improvements to the park.

Good, I'll be there - although I may have to sit in the back and hide.
This is the best thing that ever happened in PTC and without doubt, the very best idea Murray Weed ever had in his entire life. After all, a blind pig finds a truffle now and then.

the dog park is such a waste of tax money if you want to walk your dog use the 125 miles of paths we have in peachtree city or go to the soccer fields or some field to play with your dog dont tear down the woods for no reason

LOL - just remember this type of "pet" project when Murray Weed runs for state office this year . . . I bet he can really waste money at the capitol.

Murray at the state capitol - are you kidding? After his discraceful support of everything Steve Brown said or did - he couldn't get elected dogcatcher. That is almost as ludicrous as the third worst Peachtree City Councilman, Dan Lakly making it to State office (oops, never mind)

Ok rodent - who is the 2nd worse councilperson? Rapson? Tennant? Stalter? Brooks? Wait, wait, I know -- Parlontierri because of the train whistle idea. Right?

This is what is wrong with this whole forum - all the negative stuff about people. Sure those councilmen were ineffective and did more harm than good, but why don't you acknowledge the ones who did a good job? You are probably too new, but Jack Barrett and Jim Savage were the real strength under Frady and the first mayor Brown. Those were the big growth years for Peachtree City government and those guys created much of what we have today.

I'm not negative. Gasko should be part of the good guys list. Annie as well, she held her own during the BRAWN's first 2 years - God bless her.

I will now go to the dog park meeting, sit in the back and be quiet.
