If anything the fact that he changes his story, probably more than he changes his underwear, says that he is the perfect politician.

NBC News is apologizing again – this time for Jane Fonda. The 70-year-old actress used a vulgar slang term on the Today show Thursday [on the February 14 edition] while talking about the play The Vagina Monologues. Fonda is appearing in a 10th-anniversary performance and was on Today with author Eve Ensler.

Fonda told co-host Meredith Vieira that [10 years ago] she was asked to perform a monologue with a slang term for vagina as the title — and Fonda used the term itself on the air in explaining why she said "no."

On the January 15 edition of Good Morning America, Diane Keaton dropped the F-word. Unlike host Diane Sawyer, Meredith Vieira did not appear shocked at Fonda's vulgarity.

Eve Ensler, in introducing her play The Vagina Monologues (presented on college campuses across America) and talking about its impact, said the following:

“Glenn Close gets 2,500 people to stand and chant the word c***.”

“There is now a C*** Workshop at Wesleyan University [and Penn State held a “C***”-fest].”

One participant said, “I think they [attendees at a history conference next door to the rehearsal room for the play] were a little shocked to hear Crista screaming, ‘C***, C***!! SAY IT! SAY IT! C***, C***!! Say it! Say it!’”

Then, there are the provocative questions for six-year-old girls, questions, if asked by a man, would be considered child abuse.

At Georgia Tech a couple of years ago the feminists used the “c-word” during The Vagina Monologues. When a couple of brave young ladies named Ruth and Orit put up a “We are not (c-words)” poster on campus, the feminists tried to censor them claiming the c-word is offensive unless uttered by a feminist. Ruth and Orit sued and won overturning the speech code in the process.

I expect to see Barack Obama wrap up the Democratic nomination sometime in the next 30 days. I honestly don't see any way that Hillary Clinton can get the nomination at this point...Obama should trounce Clinton in N.C. and he'll lose by less than 10 points in Indiana, he just has to run out the clock at this point to get the delegates he needs.

I'm enjoying watching the racists and race-baiters scream in frustration that nothing they throw at Obama appears to be sticking. I was in a waiting room yesterday forced to watch Fox & friends and I noticed a lot of older people in the room disagreeing with the lofty pronouncements of the Fox airheads that Obama was "doomed".

Should be an interesting general election.

Not only do you mention BPR or me in nearly every post of yours, but recently you've highlighted me in every post of yours (while pretending to be a doctor) Laughing out loud and dedicated an entire blog to me ("race baiting," another one of your obsessions). Your frequently denigrating Southern Baptists is indicative of another obsession developing, or more likely, emerging, despite your attempts to hide your innate hatefulness. Truly sad.

Your effete efforts to reduce the criticism of Obama to "because he's black" (a little race-baiting yourself) defies logic since some of the articles have been written by "black" authors, such as Anthony B. Bradley and Larry Elder, and many different reasons have been given for opposing Obama (which in no way equates to hating him, as you illogically claim).

Like any presidential candidate, Obama should be examined, and when he is, he is found wanting.

"Obama was given an 8 out of 100 lifetime rating (meaning he is one of the most liberal lawmakers) by the American Conservative Union, a conservative group that issues a report card on the voting records of members of Congress. I seem to remember, back on one of Buzzard's blogs, someone rea;;y ripping into Southern Baptists that dared voice their belief that global warming should be addressed and is a problem. I think this person even spoke of "closing seminaries" and "brainwashed congregations." Let's see if I can find the quote: Aaahaaa! Here it is; by a former Dr. Denise Conner.

"Why did the SBC reverse its June 2007 position that questioned the scientific belief of some that humans are largely to blame for global warming and that increased regulation of greenhouse gases will hurt the poor?

Provide the PROOF that "bearing false witness is a core tenet" of any Christian faith.

Does BPR "lie incessantly"?

Are Southern Baptists "filth"?

I can back up my assessment of theological soundness. Can you?

I didn't speak of "closing seminaries." I made a conditional statement about one particular seminary, and the reason was not "their belief that global warming should be addressed and is a problem." Try re-reading my post and see if you can find the actual reason.

I can also give reasons for my other opinions, such as Al Gore's propaganda film being used to "brainwash" people into believing that another great flood is imminent.

If you want to think and consider the other side's arguments, then here's an interesting speech given to the National Press Club (but not by Wright).

QUESTION for you, BPR: Is quoting a person's own words EXACTLY as they wrote them an "attack?"

Is telling a person, YOU, that you scolded me on bringing race into an issue when you were actually reading DENISE Conner's words, an attack on you? Or was I correcting your attributing Conner's words to me?

Finally, is it okay for SOME people to say Southern Baptists have "brainwashed congregations," and their seminaries should be "closed" if they believe global warming is a problem we should deal with?

BPR, I challenge you to find any text I've typed attacking the Southern Baptist faith. I suggest that you turn to your editor and chief, Denise, and ask her why the hateful SBC speech. Again, you are pinning the tail on the wrong donkey.

As for us meeting, at this point, I don't see us having much of a conversation. But absolutely no ill will is wished to you or yours. I'm just saving us awkward moments.

First, no matter what I say it will be wrong. I don't know why you are so offended? All I said was I didn't know that you were black until about 3 weeks ago when my husband said why does he say we black men alot. I said I didn't know he was black. Nor do I care.

I don't care what anyone says about SBC, I'm Christian that is what matters. Wow, you love to argue. People say you are not like this in person.

Meet you, I didn't say I wanted to meet you. I said I have seen you, I know who you are, but you did not know who I was.

Conversation, wow Hack I can have a conversation with anyone, is that Christian love. You do go to Heritage don't you. That is a wonderful church. You couldn't have a conversation with me and you go there? I happen to like that church.

Lo and behold - an Obama yard sign seen in Georgia!! (In a so-called conservative area) The more people read - the more information they have to compare - the more intelligent their decision will be. Not many people want more war; higher costs for gas and food; etc. Volunteerism has taken a great hold on the American people - because they have been shown during the last eight years - that 'government' has fallen short. The American people are fantastic!

Having a great grandfather and grandfather who were ministers in black churches - my cousins and I have been discussing this 'interest' in Black Liberation Theology. The result. We have been exposed to BLT all of our lives! Without BLT, growing up in California, I would not have been exposed to the contribution of black Americans to our (American) history. We were taught this in Sunday School so that the 'marginalization' of 'blacks' would be buffeted by the 'truth' of who we are and what we have contributed. My mother says that in church, the sermons correlated the gospel with man's responsibility to his fellow man and the community. We never equated this with 'hating' whites. Our history always stressed the contribution that 'whites' made to make our liberation in this country a reality. Black schools, on the whole, were founded by 'white' Christian churches that believed in the power of education in giving all people an opportunity to compete in a democracy. The persons who made the Underground Railroad' a success were 'white' people. In California, I experienced an integrated education - and had no fear of 'white' people - and certainly no reason to 'hate' those whites that I came in contact with. I, and most Christians who were raised in a 'black' church - never felt that we were 'taught' to hate 'whites' by the leaders of our churches. My fear was based on experiences that I had with individual 'whites' that treated members of my family with violence. The 'black church' taught non-violence. . .long before Cone, Wright, or others began to label these concepts BLT.

If Obama is elected POTUS, (God Forbid!), and he pulls the troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, he will not have ended the war that the terrorists have waged on America. He will simply have provided them an opportunity to expand it and, possibly, bring it to America.

Volunteerism is good, but studies have proven that Conservatives give much, much, much more than Liberals.
Libs just like to take money that isn't theirs and give it to "the poor" and claim that they did the right thing.

Quiet an obesession that Mr. Wright and Obama have for saying things against our country and certain people. I haven't kept count but you can.

As long as they keep their hate speech up I will keep informing people about their hate speech. Not good for a President to hang with people who hate.

What are you talking about the "Human Race?" I don't hate "The Human Race" when they speak hate I don't like it. Read my posts again and you will see the hate.

but I have read the entire 92 pages of the Republican platform {national platform since the local GOP doesn't feel the need to tell the voters what they see as the goal of government} and have to say that it reads very nicely. I find that I agree with some of the goals in the platform. As I said below to NUK...I think that we generally agree with the goals for our national government, it is the way we go about achieving those goals that causes us problems. For example, I believe in peace through a non-aggressive foreign policy as opposed to peace through continuing displays of strength. I believe in people taking personal responsibility for their lives, but do not feel that "cutting people loose" to fend for themselves is the way to go about achieving that. Now you can read into that anything you want (as I am sure you will), but I prefer to search for solutions to common concerns through dialog and consensus building. Keep the faith.

Democracy is not a spectator sport.

I don't see why the Republicans need 92 pages. I can sum up their platform in a few short sentences!

1. Might makes right.
2. It's okay to hate them...they're DIFFERENT. P.S. Jesus hates them, too.
3. Greed is good. Sex is bad.
4. That which does not kill us within, say, 30 days is safe and wholesome.
5. Science is just a theory.
6. Zygote is too hard to spell. Therefore, "Baby" is a perfectly acceptable synonym.
7. It's okay if we do it. It's not okay if you do it.
8. Security is more important than freedom. You should expect to give up some freedoms for increased security.

Winston Churchill was referring to Hitler and the Third Reich. Unfortunately, our toppling Saddam from power and wading into a quagmire of our own making comes nowhere near the righteousness of Winston Churchill standing up to the Third Reich. Churchill and the English people had the courage to face the military superiority of the German war machine. If they had not stood their ground, things would have turned out very differently for the entire world.

Thatcher's quote is a different matter. I'm no politician, but it seems to me that building a consensus is what democracy is all about. You would never know it from the last seven years, so I can see why you find that particular quote so appealing.

Luckily, there are other bloggers on this website who actually try to build a consensus. I'm siding with them.

Don't pay any mind to dollar et. al., since they can't directly contradict many of your assertions and instead have to mock the messenger.

Your posts are very detailed and well linked to items which support your positions, their posts are linked to sarcasm and indifference. So pay them no mind.

Now that even Obama is distancing himself from the racist that is and was his reverend for 20 years, I'm looking forward to how they handle that little diddy. I mean, they repeatedly talked about how Wright's message was not that big a deal, and then boom, Obama throws his uncle under the bus, like he did his typical white grandmother.

So don't let them get to you. I know I enjoy your blogs.

Thanks for the kind words! I've enjoyed your GREAT posts, especially the one about the inkblot. Laughing out loud Obama keeps HOPING that people lack the discernment to connect the dots that tie his radical past with his liberal voting record. He's not a blank slate -- it's filled with far left ideology, but people are too busy crying "Change!" to read what's plainly written. Reminds of the Romans' "bread and circuses."

He said PBR was bearing false witness because she claims Obama is "obsessed" with making statements against this country and certain people. Unless there is some proof of Obama doing such and obsessed with it, I'd say sniffles is actually correct.

It's not hard to be against Obama without having to make up BS like he's anti-American or a Muslim or other nonsense. I wish some of his most fervent opponents would try that instead of fantasy.

you and I disagree on bunches of things, but on this one thing we are actually right in line. Our political system would be well served if people stuck to the matters at hand and did not wander off into fantasy land. It is hard enough making up one's mind without having to sift through the chaff to find the wheat. Honest and substantive dialog is the only way for our political system to function as it should. We may disagree as to means, but our goals are the same. Keep the faith.
