Matt Ramsey Visits Oak Grove: Brings Busloads of Clayton Countians

Ramsey is the typical oaf politician like Westmoreland who does have the ability to hold down a real job. But when the GOP leadership says "Hey, lets rush this voucher thing through for political capital", Matty gleefully says yes. When the thinking universe points to the obvious meteor that would strike Fayette, Matty then calls his pet project "ill conceived".

But, heck, Ramsey, Chance and Wastemoron succeed at this game because we let them !

I'm sure our pretty boy Matt will also be elbowing himself past Wastemoreland and Logsdon on the podium in order to speak at the WWII Heritage Days event at Falcon Field today and tomorrow. So this is what is considered 'representing our community interests'? What self serving waste.........

Aren't all politicians in this category? And for that matter, they practically have to be to get their names in the news and get re-elected. Wastemoreland's huge postcard regarding water restrictions is another example....1. not a federal regulation so why have our federal representative in on it....2. already published information, so a total waste of tax dollars. Seems like we are in for more of the same with our new guys like Ramsey. But I bet the kids had fun.

I totally agree with you on that. Wow, a red-letter day! I am disgusted with libs and cons alike when it comes to wasting tax dollars to promote themselves, earmarks that are wasteful, special interest groups' influence, and hypocritical words/acts designed to generate attention or undercut an opponent. I wish we could just have a reasoned debate on issues, and not the nasty stuff that is happening right now. I admire McCain on that point, and I hope to see a cleaner national campaign if Hilary is out of it....although it appears that the candidates can't control their supporters' antics in all cases.
