Would love to know more about the car thief this morning

What's the full story behind the helicopters, etc. this morning around Peachtree City Elementary? I've heard that there was a car thief who crashed and then was on foot in the neighborhood? Kudos to the police for catching him (I assume it was a male), but I sure would like to know the whole story!

However, the Citizen's story didn't mention the loaded 9mm handgun the *16 year old* suspect had in his backpack! Sheesh! Now I want to know what in the heck this hoodlum was doing wandering around just after 8 in the morning with a loaded gun. Why wasn't he in school (and where does he go to school?!)? And WHY was he stealing a car??? Is he a PTC resident?

I'm sure The Citizen will bring us up to speed in due time.

And to think all my doors were unlocked this morning when this jerk was running around just blocks from my house!

someone stole a car, the Police chased, he wrecked, he ran and he's in jail. Too bad he's wasting our resources.
