Starbucks is dead!

They lasted about five years longer than I predicted,
Those sanctuaries of aroma, Wifi and the derelicted.
Those without jobs, those with laptops,
Looking for friendship while drinking the slop.
Well it gets boring and expensive,
Even though the aura does get extensive.
Charging $4, plus, for a cup of strong Joe,
Raking in cash to build more cash flow.
Now there are thousands of brick and stone,
Again selling nothing but coffee and scone.
A new boss has been found who said out with the food,
It detracts from the smell of our coffee good!
The price has been cut by 400% on hull coffee,
But that is right down the alley of McDonalds and shops of toffee.
Don't mess with the Mac,
Or you will carry your head in a sack!

Poem is interesting, but it is supposed to be every other line that rhymes, not consecutive lines.

Ever heard of a couplet?

I also don't use rhyming dictionaries, too artificial and undistinctive.

Use a lot of license, also. Straight off my tongue tip---no plan.
