If you call me first, I'll pay you double the price NOT to tattoo them.

I'll pay you triple not to do tongue rings, nose rings, and eyebrow rings, among others, to my kids as well.

This exception applies, if my children join the Armed Forces such as the Marines, then by all means, Semper Fie (sic) is permitted.

Sorry guys, but I find tattoos to be ridiculous.

My kids better first wear one that lasts for a couple months and if they like it, then fine, they can have it, along with all of their college bills and expenses.

Back when the ALlman brothers Band first formed, they all went and had mushrooms tattooed onto their calves.

Some reporter who was interviewing them offered the observation that this was rather childish, and Duane Allman offered to rearrange his face.

Well, it was, perhaps, childish, but I have, off and on over the years, felt the impulse to go and get a mushroom tattoo on my calf.

His name is Norman and he is still bottle fed.

Ah, but then my only experience with mushrooms of that variety--at age 17--was not a good one at all. Bad trip, man. These days I stick to portabello mushrooms, and I doubt that anyone would understanhd if I had one of those tattooed on--sort of like, say, an asparagus or a butternut squash tattoo. It would not exactly be a chick magnet, except for those overly fond of food.

Like the wife whose husband was a huge fan of B.B. King. She thought he would like it if she had the initials, "BB" tattooed on her behind--one letter per side.

When he opened his gift he became enraged.

"Who the heck is BOB???!!!" he asked.

Yay! I am so excited for you guys! I will be there tomorrow!

I think people are absolutely wrong to want to know why. That's not the approach to the mysteries of the universe, "Why?" The approach is to celebrate them.

"Sorry guys, but I find tattoos to be ridiculous."

No one plans for life as a middle ager anymore.... nothing says "oh no you di'int" like a 40 something with a tattoo woven in the ripples of her back.
