Dallas Holm to perform at WoolseyTue, 04/01/2008 - 3:02pm

Christian musician Dallas Holm will be in concert Sunday night, April 13, at Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Road, Fayetteville. The performance begins at 6 p.m. A love offering will be taken and childcare will be provided. A Minnesota-born husband, father and grandfather, Holm has been an artist in Christian music for over 30 years with his writing, singing and ministry and has held concerts in every U.S. state. He has also performed in many countries abroad. For his 37 recordings, he has gold records, Dove awards, Grammy nominations and number one songs. At age 16 in 1965, Holm was playing in local rock bands. His church pastor sat down and talked to him about his life, his goals and Jesus. After Bible college and a short time as youth pastor, Holm joined David Wilkerson in his youth crusades in 1970 and stayed there for 10 years. In his travels, he also speaks and teaches. His music is from inspirational to blues, from country to reggae.
