More magnificant thinking!

The AJC newspaper had a stupid article recently announcing the plans for the building of a slew of small lakes, all over the place--not in-line.

This plan was to be a drought fighter.

It has been my experience, and just plain common sense which isn't taught anymore, that when a drought hits, it is in a large area all at once.

All of those tiny lakes (1/10 - 1/20 size of Lanier) would all dry up at the same time!!!! Stupid!

More huge lakes are needed, properly positioned to hold months worth and feed each other.

They are trying to buy a go-cart instead of a Cadillac!

Lordy, lordy how do we replenish our thinkers?---can all the politicians who won't let them work?

is some alternate use of resources. We have to find a way to turn off uncontrolled development so that we may use our existing resources in a more judicious manner. That applies to air and land as well as water. Keep the faith.
