Closing Sunday for church

Chiken filet closes on Sunday, so they say, so employees can go to church. Wonder what percentage of them do? Maybe those that don't could open for breakfast and dinner, anyway?

The thing is, I don't think it is fair for them to get to do that! Pilots don't get off on Sunday to go to church!
Hospital employees don't get off!
Fire and Police employees don't get off--except for the clerical people.
Train operators and Bus drivers don't get off.
Taxi drivers don't get off.
Airport employees don't get off.
"Quickee" employees don't get off.
Service station employees don't get off.
Internet employees don't get off.
Preachers don't get off.
Mental hospital employees don't get off--I don't think!
Prison guards don't get off--Warden might!
800,000 restaurant employees don't get off.
Many, many others don't get off.

However as many of these people who don't get off, go to church anyway! There is early church, night church, Wednesday church, and time to think about your soul after you do get off!

"Our decision to close on Sunday was our way of honoring God..."

It's done as a religious observation. If the employees choose not to go to church, that's their decision. If you think that's stupid, then go take it up with Mr. Cathy.

Our dollar has always had a problem with Truett, he just doesn't believe anyone is that religious. He condemns him because he only gives $2000.00 scholarships.

I just don't see why he should be making such a big deal out of it. I mean, I'm not religious at all. There have definitely been times where I would have liked to have some Chik-fil-A on a Sunday, but I respect the decisions of Mr. Cathy and the Chik-fil-A organization.

Heh, ya think maybe dollar/whoever is just angry because he couldn't get a chicken sandwich this past weekend?

One of my nephews got one of those $2000. scholarships. Great place for these young people to work.
