Free Speech: Wednesday Citizen

Has not been printed twice recently.
Also home deliveries have been on Thursday instead of Wednesday, occasionally.

I know good help is hard to find, but such repeated problems eventually serve their purpose!

Usually the saying "you get what you pay for" is true. In this case, you get a good bit for NOTHING, so quit your whining.

One gets nothing for nothing! I think maybe you think that!

The ads pay for the paper. I buy goods from the ad payers---with the cost included!

Now, who pays for the paper?

Rich I tell you, rich.

I'm willing to bet you hardly ever consider an ad in the paper before you buy your weekly dose of whining. Where do they sell such whining anyways? I've never seen an ad for it.

What does my considering an ad in the paper have to do with who ultimately pays for the operation of the newspaper?

Ask Cal if he would put out a paper if he sold no ads?

Do you really think that when you use any of the businesses who buy ads that they don't charge it back to you in your purchase price?

Why would they buy the ads anyway if they weren't going to somehow get their money back?
By the way there is nothing wrong with ads in the paper. It allows the paper to do a better quality job than just having want ads and court problems!

There haven't been many Free Speech columns lately because there haven't been enough to justify the printing costs.

Cal has already said this at a previous time when Nitpickers asked the same question.

There will probably be a Free Speech column next week after people read about the "Free the Fayette Two" Protest.

BS.
Costs less to print a few than a bunch!
I didn't send any, myself.

Yes, but that's Cal's official position on the topic.

I don't think so!
What exactly is his position?
Is two enough to print?
Had two pages last time he printed them, seems odd!

I don't know anything further than what he explicity stated last time (around November I believe).
