Its happening!

Had a discussion the other day with an intelligent gentleman about the current war, and other recent wars, and also about why the current war should be continued, even to the point of expanding it.

His contention was that if we don't kill all of the jihadists first they have plans to kill all of us, and right here.

He didn't deny that oil had much to do with the problem but his thoughts ran along the lines of: there have always been wars over such things and appeasement is the very worst thing we could do and still survive. We must kill them.

I supposed that we could survive without starting more Crusades, simply by controlling the situation. For instance, if we had completed the Afghanistan war properly and left Iraq alone, what would have been the harm? We would be sitting in Afghanistan watching Saddam and Iran! Just like we are in Germany and Korea.

But no, they now must die! All billions of them.
