Banned from Site

Somehow I was banned last night after a comment I made concerning the new Tattoo shop going in. The comment referred to the practice of body modification through the piercing of a portion of the female anatomy.

Well, I guess I offended to blog God’s so here I am to apologize for my act that required you to delete the post, delete the account, and require you to become a censor of free and protected speech that did not involve profanity, did not attack a member of a protected class or group, or was untruthful. The comment was sarcastic and medical correct concerning the practices that many of the establishments use as additional revenue generators.

I am not against free trade, tattoos or people who get them. Drive on and good luck with the endeavor. But what concerns me is that you can be banned, not warned, not an email nothing, just bang you’re gone!

You may not like the content, you may not agree, and you are free to add your comments, but the thought of banning smacks of censorship and a lack of candor with regards to keeping an open and meaningful dialog in matters related to the community, politics, public officials, or social concerns.

I guess Shadow08 is gone but Shadow08A is here for the time being.

Regarding free speech and all that, you have to remember that this is Cal's site and you only have the rights that he's willing to grant you.
