Ok, now I understand

I am clear now on why the republicans say:
Build a big fence first, them round up the illegals and send them home!"
To say it, gets votes of those republicans, and a few backward people, who think that it sounds like you don't want them when you do.
They are needed for the cheap work.
But, but (no not BillClinton....Clinton...) the fence would get built in this way:
Have congress obligate some money to really get started with the fence, and then built it like crazy for a few months. Then stop temporarily while the design is changed----it has been discovered that the Mexicans already have the current plans and have invented a way to breach it.
In a few months, we start again on the great wall. However all the obligated money so far has run out due to the fact that we paid everyone waiting for new plans---that, plus the trip to Berlin to view the Berlin Wall, only to find out that it had been destroyed. Some tunnels under the wall however have survived and the survey crew looked them over.
Then, congress obligated some more money to go with the new plans, and the fence was started again---after tearing out the original six miles. The trash was dumped into Mexico.
Finally, enough illegal Mexicans were hired (on contract, $8.00 per hour--no benefits)to begin the wall again.
Two years having past since the wall was started and the project stalls due to the Texans refusing to sell their land to the government on which to build the ugly fence. They said they would consider selling if the government would zig-zag the fence as the river zig-zagged, thereby saving some Texas ranchers hundreds of acres of grazing land. Then they wanted water rights either over or under the wall for their ranch.
It took about a year for the Supreme Court to decide that yes, the government could only back off 30 feet from the rivers edge to build the fence.
That of course added about 500 miles to the fence in Texas only and the design wasn't built to be a zig-zag fence
and had to be re-done. (they all got paid again in the mean time---kinda like FEMA.
For years having passed.........
Well after 20 years it was discovered that all illegals had become legal in all that time, and that there was no one to deport!
Anyway, Mexicans were easily breaching the few miles already built, all during the process described here.
Meanwhile, thousands of Middle-easterners were crossing the Canadian Borders at three thousand known unguarded places, and we were setting up machine gun nests around all cities and water storage facilities!
We appear to be ready to bomb some country soon for all this, but the one is not yet decided.

The Las Vegas odds on a fence ever working are 100 to one against. I just put $1,000 on it!
Decision by a blue ribbon panel in 10 years.
