Obama's Mentor Identified As Moscow Controlled Communist

Git Real's picture

The mysterious "Frank" cited as a friend and adviser by Democratic president contender Barack Obama while he was growing up in Hawaii has been identified as Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the old Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA.

I had never heard of this until Git's post this morning.

Obama's Limo Ride

In looking for it, I found a site populated by staunch Obama supporters and noted their reaction: a flat rejection of the very possibility, and claims of "swiftboat attacks." (Let's try to come up with a new vocabulary, shall we?) One described it as "evil." That person is right. It is nothing short of evil--if the allegation is false.

I have exactly the same attitude toward this that I did when the guy came forward about the televangelist, Ted Haggard: Cannot rule it out apriori, and the guy seems credible. It turned out to be true in the Haggard case.

But I just want to add that I have always been proud of my country--eespecially in my entire adult life.

Keep slinging dirt to the choir of democrat haters

Yup.... we'll see how much you guys call it "slinging dirt" when the dems go pounding on McCain. Now that McCain's pretty much got it wrapped up, you guys and the New York times are turning on him like rabid dogs. McCain... what a fool. He was eating up the left's phony support all this time. How predictable.

It's funny how it's not "slinging dirt" when it's Larry Craig or his likes. Again the hypocrisy abounds. If the same allegations were made against an "R", you guys would be all over it. It's soooooo predictable that the left is starting to savagely attack McCain and his potential sexual escapades while ignoring your Savior Obama's possible glory hole escapades. I'm convinced at this point that your team would follow and defend a pack of child molesters into the gates of hell as long as they called themselves Democrats.

Honestly Hack, I'm surprised that you stand comfortably on the same hypocritical level as Sniffles. I was sure you were better than that.

As for McCain and the Hottie???? I wouldn't doubt it for a moment. Obama and his????.......

Howdy Git. I believe we were both in the Hulk's line together watching that horrible cartoon loop. Did your wife have a cross necklace on, and did you two have the same color shirt? I've run into a few PTC bros down here. Let's quickly dive in and then return to vacation.

"It's funny how it's not "slinging dirt" when it's Larry Craig or his likes. Again the hypocrisy abounds. If the same allegations were made against an "R", you guys would be all over it."

Fact 1: Larry Craig was accused by the police department and plead GUILTY. I would not call the Minneapolis PD political mud slingers.

Fact 2: Larry Craig plead guilty to breaking decency laws all while being a champion of family values. Don't be so quick to run to your "hypocrisy" defense. It is absolutely not applicable here. You have posted rumors about a candidate competing in primaries that you do not support. No guilty pleas to back them up. No police reports. No apples to apples.

"It's soooooo predictable that the left is starting to savagely attack McCain and his potential sexual escapades while ignoring your Savior Obama's possible glory hole escapades."

Git, this is about what you and I personally post here. Not "the left" or "the right." The republicans have been ravaging McCain so much it is not necessary for me to say a word. I actually feel that it is shameful to work so fervantly against him and to boo him when you invite him to speak (PNAC). If you have read what I've said about McCain, it is always linked to his policies and not his personal life. I don't like the "100 years in Iraq" support or the "bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran" song from a presidential candidate. That's where I stop the critique. You personally (not "the Right") posted the above because you don't have much of a "vote for my guy because.." argument. That is unfortunate for you. I've never been more politically pumped up, and I enjoy seeing the waves of new voters feeling the same.

"Honestly Hack, I'm surprised that you stand comfortably on the same hypocritical level as Sniffles. I was sure you were better than that."

Gitreal, let's get real. You are standing shoulder to shoulder with BEAVER. That should really tell you something of the nature of your arguments. Again, I don't feel you can possibly hurt Barack with these tabloid stories. Stick to his "present" votes if you want to do damage. But please, please don't tell me you thought I was a better man than I am when you are sharing an ammo belt with BEAVER.

Git, the bottom line is that the conservative attack machine has been slow to retool as they have been constructing hate Hillary equipment and suddenly have found themselves behind on current events. This is a tidal wave that you can't stop. Republicans loath their choice. We love both of ours. I'm not sure where that hypocrisy claim fits in to the above scenario, but it truly does suck to be a republican about now. Let's go catch some rays brother.

I'm at the Portafino. Where in the heck are you? Wish I could have hooked up with you in person and discussed this issue. I'll bet we could have found some common ground in regards to my statements. No.. it wasn't us at the Hulk. I'm not a matching shirt kind of guy. Although my kids were wearing Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts today. We were at the Magic Kingdom today. Dog gone it.... It's back to the real world tomorrow.

And heck Hack! You chastising me on going after your side is laughable. I see you going after the 'R's' in the same manner all of the time. Now stop pretending like the left-wingers are such a virtuous group. You guys are pretending like there are no "liberal attack machines" and it's amazing how whiny you guys get when you are on the receiving end of a 'below the belt punch' when that's what you're sides "attack machines" specialize in.

Ok... I'll give you the Larry Craig point. Scratch it and insert any number of R's your side goes after with little or no proof. What's amazing is that if those same homo allegations were hurled at McCain, the press and the left would be tripping over each other trying to see who could shout it the loudest. That's my point and it's a legit point at that. Please don't act like you don't know where the hypocrisy accusations from me come from. Again.... all I ask is that the Dems hold themselves to the same standards as the press and you guys attempt to hold us to.

As far as Obama goes.... Hang loose Bro! This is fixing to get real interesting. Two things.... Obama is going to have to start exposing his true positions and stop hiding behind his "hope" lines. The honeymoon is about over for this guy and he's going to have to face the same scrutiny as all other candidates traditionally do. And that includes his history...good, bad or ugly. So when his historical positions, lifestyles, and other stinky stuff gets exposed, your cries of "conservative attack machines" and 'swift boating' are going to ring hollow. Especially when your side will be firing with every piece of dirt they can dredge up.

And not to mention...... Obama's biggest haunt looks like it might be his own wife. If she keeps running her big mouth, she's going to chase fence sitting votes away with her divisive and ridiculous comments.

Republicans loath their choice.

Yup... they sure do. And so do most of us ex-GOP refugees.

We love both of ours

You guys would love anyone or anything as long as it slapped a 'D' behind its name. At least those of us on the right have enough sense to be disgusted with our fruitcakes.

Let's go catch some rays brother.

I just completed the drive back to the real world, I'm going to sleep in my own bed tonight, my belly is full, I'm sitting in my recliner, and I just sent one of the Gitlets to go turn on the steam shower. It doesn't get more uncomfortable than that.

I want you to know that I love you too man. Who else can I wrestle around with as we're getting scratched up, bruised and bloody. Then helping each other up off the mat in the end, we walk away friends. That's truly a priceless association. For what it's worth I stand my assertions that you are indeed a good man in spite of your poor political alliances. Eye-wink I want you on my side...... I realize you're a bit disorientated at the moment, but contrary to what Mrs. Git says about me often times being impatient, just know I'm willing to wait it out and rejoice the moment I see you walk over from the dark side into the light. Smiling

Hillary Clinton, twice elected Senator, Yale grad, and Barack Obama, law professor, father, senator, husband, are not chopped liver. They are success stories. I proudly support them.

Sorry Captain..... your 'fluff piece' resume doesn't tell the entire story and truths regarding your characters. Like I said, people have seen through Hillary and her unethical and big government ways and they are desperate for another option. Obama's message of 'hope' and his polished oratory skills have portrayed quite the hero on stage. It reminds of our Hollywood Heroes. They always look good with make-up on while playing the roles of those to whom they really aren't. When you move past the big screen and see what these people are like in real life, it gets pretty ugly and...... Obama's on stage right now. And like I said, the honeymoon is about over. It's lift the top of the bun of that burger and start asking that age old question of: "Where's The Beef"? Puzzled

Personally, I think Obama is as much an empty suit as our very own Congressman Lynn Westmoreland is.

The last indictments I have seen (Congressman, AZ) did not wear the democratic lapel pin. I'm good with my side.

Let me see here...... John McCain - The Republican Candidate loved by Non-Republicans. Shocked

So to continue on with the conversation of my being uncomfortable, let me just say this: In todays society, none of this comes as a surprise to me. We live in a world where immoral activities are perceived as the norm and moral behavior is looked at as being odd and offensive. We are increasingly living in world where evil lifestyles are thought of as more normal than the good and decent ones. We're living in country in which our generation's children and grand children will never see or know the freedoms and liberties that you and I have thrived in. We're living in a country where the left has embraced an 'anything goes' philosophy in order to acquire power over the masses at any cost. And shamelessly, the Republicans are tripping over themselves to duplicate the mindset of left. I've said it once and I'll say it again..... take joy Hack. Your side is indeed winning. The problem is that in the future lions will start devouring themselves. And the 'little people' (us)? They won't matter a bit. The caste system is our future and when we finally regret selling our souls to these corrupt parties it's going to be too late.

I agree wholeheartedly with you Hack (except it was "CPAC" not "PNAC"....wrong hate organization!)

I believe the VRWC had been promoting Obama behind-the-scenes in order to damage Hillary Clinton in the primaries. After all, she was the "inevitable" choice of the Democrats. It would seem they've had a hand in creating a monster they can no longer contain.

I'm sure the VRWC will bounce back when they retool their hate machine...they always do. What is truly fascinating is how few people are buying into their "smear of the day" this election cycle. This is nothing short of an outright disaster for Republicans, who've based their entire campaign strategy on the tried and true two-prong strategy of "fear" and "anger".
