The Audacity of Hype

Here's Senator Kirk Watson, who supports B. Hussein Obama for President, in an interview with Mr. Hardball himself, Chris Matthews.

Senator Watson cannot name one legislative accomplishment by Obama!
Not one!! All he can do is spit out "he inspires people".
Listen for yourself - you can't make this stuff up.

Obama campaign rep STUMPED on legislative accomplishments

Hell, if inspiration is all that it takes -

Hitler inspired people
Mussolini inspired people
Castro inspired people
Charles Manson inspired his followers.

How in the heck does smooth talking and a bunch of empty words qualify someone for POTUS??? The Dems that are supporting him are in a hypnotic trance over this guy. Amazing how people can get taken in by smooth talk from an empty suit.

Wake up from the trance, sheeple.........

Barack Obama is a human featherball -- a slick, smiling, substance-free empty suit who excites gullible dimwits by repeating the words “change,” “unity,” and “hope” over and over --

I just don't know what happened. I hit the post key once, and it just kept posting over, and over, and over again. I HOPE this CHANGES.

This repetition thing is so perfectly dollarish. Having a little short term problems?

Oops, my bad. It kind of reminds you of Obama saying "hope" and "change" over, and over, and over, and over again, huh?

I forgot to mention that several years ago there was a candidate that ran for President in a very similar manner as Sen Obama. His name was Ronald Reagan. And according to many he didn't do too bad!

It's clear you don't like Barack Obama. That is your choice and so be it. But to refer to him as B. Hussein Obama is childish, narrow minded and most likely bigoted. So he has a Muslim name. His father was from Kenya. So what! Do you refer to Sen Clinton as H Rodham Clinton or McClain as J whatever McClain. No. Why because you and yours hate the fact he might be president. You want people to believe that he is Muslim and therefore is bad.

As far as the Senator from Texas. He was embarassed and should have been prepared but that's one guy and he's a state senator. I bet there are plenty of supporters of Clinton, Huckabee, McClain and Obama that would probably have a hard time listing their candidates legislative accomplishments. The lady on the show supporting Clinton was also asked the same thing but it kind of blew over because of the other guy. She didn't answer either. I bet that today all of the campaigns put out a sheet listing those accomplishments.

Treat a man with respect and you will get respect.

Childish? Well, I AM only 6 years old.

Isn't Hussein his given name? How is calling him by his given name "narrow minded and bigoted"?

I don't understand, Wally (kreedham).... It's all so confusing

Hussein is his given middle name but he doesn't go by it so why would you call him that. I assume that you have a middle and first name and go by one of those. Do your friends call you by the name you don't guy by? Not likely unless it's Billy Bob or some combo name. Sorry you're confused but I think I understand why?

I stated why calling him B Hussein Obama is narrow minded. I'm glad most Americans will see past these tactics such as this and the often sent e-mail regarding his upbringing. And by the way you chose your name to post as The Beaver. I didn't pick Wally.

Are you calling me "Billy Bob"? That's a redneck name, and I take offense to that. It was very racist of you to call me that.

I guess it's all relative. I'm sure Joseph Goebbels would be insulted to be called anything other than "Aryan", so I guess you have a precedence there, huh Beaver?

I don't recall rednecks killing six-million people in ovens.

You must not think much of the Jewish people huh River?

RightOnTheMoney,
I apparently didn't express myself very clearly. I was trying to make fun of Beaver for being "insulted" at being called a redneck. Some of my best friends consider themselves to be rednecks, and proud of it! I don't consider "redneck" to be an insult.

I may not be Jewish, but the Holocaust was very real, and could happen again if we ever let our guard down. It could happen in this country, and the people who would commit that sort of atrocity would probably consider themselves to be "true patriots", just like the Nazis did. They would be willing to excuse secret detention facilities and torturing of prisoners as "justified". They would tend to blame minorities for all the things going wrong in this country. That's exactly what happened in Germany, back in the 1930s. Sound familiar?
