My Harry's Handshake

Once upon a time, many many moons ago, there was a son of mine who had a friend with a handshake like his.
I could hardly tell the difference in the two handshakes unless I was looking them each in the face.
My Harry was neat and prim, but Harry's friend, in spite of the handshake, was not.
Now I don't see Harry or his friend much anymore. They somehow didn't want to live around us, I guess, but I push the limits sometimes and try to find them.
Sure enough Harry's friend showed up recently and just wanted to shake my hand.
Ir was as if My Harry was here. The handshake and all. He still wasn't very neat and prim, but I survived.
Harry has a life of his own. I wish I did!

Is this a gay parable of some kind?? No judgements or anything....just trying to figure it out...

Never mind a life of your own, I wish you had a mind of your own. Send all of your other personalities packing, take your meds. then you will have a life.

It makes me want to come by the retirement home, pick you up, and head to Riverdale to enjoy some fresh Krispy Kremes and Coffee together with you. I'll just bet you've got some bodacious WWI stories to share. I do hope you get to shake the real Harry's hand before long. Best to ya.....
