It was so warm this morning, I just skipped out to my car with no coat or hat all happy to see the forsythia blooming.

Now I have to leave work after dark and shiver for the 10-15 minutes it will take for my poor old car heater to warm up. Oh woe is me Eye-wink

My garsh Jane......it is February in NORTH America. You'd think that you owned grocery stocks.......do you? It's not even THAT cold. It's Winter for cryin' out loud. All you folks who complain and flip out over a little winter weather in the winter mind you must never have left the south or been above Virginia in your life. Relax and enjoy.....the "colder" weather is good for you....it'll keep you healthy

Bless your heart, you miss my point, I was joking about how folks do go crazy with a drop or two of snow.

Own grocery stocks, ah from your lips to God's ear! I wish.

As for me, I grew up in Illinois, believe me I know about cold cold weather and snow, lots and lots and of snow. School was never cancelled, heck we walked to school in snow. Towns did not close down, peope did not freak out. I know about cold weather and snow. Guess why I moved to Atlanta. . .

Guess you misunderstood my joshing about the grocery store runs.

My apologies Jane.....I usually catch the sarcasm........must be all the shivering I'm doing to keep warm....BRRRR. Me, Upstate NY, North Jersey among others, so definitely know aboutthe snow and cold. SStill trying to figure out what possessed me to relocate here, though. I miss the weather sometimes. Better make sure the snowmobile is all gassed up so I can git to the grocery and stock up on bread and butter!

You are durn straight about the snowmobile, or you could just put a scraper on the front of your golf cart.

How old are you, cold bothers different people in different ways, since I'm just a little over 29 (wink wink) anything below 70 is cold to me. I'm very clear on what possessed me to relocate, I don't like cold, and I don't like snow.

My kid, of course, makes fun of my walking to school in the snow stories, but it is true. My town was small-ish, not everyone rode the school bus. Admittedly I was a small, how tall are elementary school kids? At any rate, I truly remember walking to school the sidewalks had been shoveled and snow was waist high.

This was the day and time mailboxes were on the house. Mail would not be delivered if sidewalks were not clear.

Shoot, this is making me cold just talking about it.

Later, I'm out for today.
