The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is closing the books on its investigation into the deaths of former pro wrestler Chris Benoit and his family at their central Fayette home this summer.

The investigation concludes that Benoit killed his wife Nancy and their son Daniel before taking his own life, all between the dates of Friday, June 22 and Sunday, June 24.

Detectives "found no evidence that indicates the presence of any other individual or individuals who contributed to the deaths of the three members of the Benoit family," according to a news release issued by the sheriff's office Tuesday morning.

The Benoit family's bodies were found Monday, June 24 at their home at 130 Green Meadow Lane after Chris Benoit failed to show up for a wrestling appearance the day before.

The results of the investigation are contrary to the conspiracy theories that sprouted on the Internet after the Benoits' deaths became international headlines. Such theories centered on the premise that a stranger or someone who knew the Benoits had killed the family.

Officials said the sheriff's office devoted a tremendous amount of time on the case to insure a thorough investigation. Detectives were also thankful for the cooperation and patience from all involved in the probe.

Be careful. As was the case in the City State of Rome, many of its citizens liked such stuff. Gladiators (football), cart races (NASCAR), etc.
They like wrecks, injuries, risk, thrills, etc.
