Almost dead silence

It appears that the loss of the ultra-right wing Romney quitting, and with the PTC police department fouled up, many of the regulars on here have little to say today!
It hasn't taken a telescope or a microscope to see what was coming in both of these instances for at least two years.
However, to try and explain to these odd people that they were destroying their own party has proven to be impossible.
They have Boortized, Hannitized, and Limburgered themselves to death!
Not to menton Ingraham, Coulter, O'Reilly, and many of those weird Senators and congressmen like Senator Allen (old (macockca (Sp) monkey recognizer himself.
When these guys get caught in a falsehood, they always pretend to be "entertainers."
Even if McCain is now elected, we can stop being too concerned about the CIA checking out our calls and e-mails whenever they want, or pretending that a big old wall will keep out all Mexicans and South Americans, or that women have NO pregnancy rights, or that we can any longer allow the middle class to pay most of the taxes collected, while the high scale dudes get a break. Even McCain knows better than that, but he will pretend not to for a while.
I don't know what Huckabee wants, but I suppose the same thing Romney does, the VP nod.
Neither Clinton nor Obama will select the other for that post, they need votes from people other than those either of them already get. Maybe JEB for John, and Penelope Pennywincher for Hillary!
As will the democrats, McCain will pull our troops into a conclave and let the Iraqis have at it---bombing someone once on a while, or executing mean dudes.
I have no idea what either party will try to do with Afghanistan and the poppies and the Taliban and the training camps now in Pakistan.
I suppose sit at the base of the Afghan mountains and try to keep them out!
At any rate, this stupid thing of Democratizing the middle-east will be DEAD!

It's an almost funereal atmosphere amongst the Republicans lately.

Read the AJC this morning...if I were a member of Jim Wooten's family, I'd confiscate his belt and shoelaces...talk about a depressed man! His theme was "Georgia is not Democratic yet".

He had a half-hearted attempt to conflate Obama with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton (all coloreds look alike to conservatives, dontcha know?) but was gloomy that two of the most Republican counties in GA, Cobb and Gwinnett, both had majority Dem turnouts.

Also interesting was a piece by a professor of religion stating the obvious: Evangelical Christians shunned Romney because they thought the Mormon religion was a "cult".

2008 is shaping up to be a great year to be a Democrat!!

_I don't have the day off. I work preschool 4 days and I have 2 seperate jobs I do at home, good thing with gas prices. My husband has to drive to Sugarloaf everday, he's been doing it for a while, he's use to it.

My other jobs I work on the computer- I get paid alot more than prschool, but preschool, it's therapy for my soul. I love kids.
I love animals also. I love when we go to the petting zoo. The hardest one is the preschool, I do it because I love it.

I just made an observation that the two factors were "wounded."

As to the amount of comments held for such a short time, my question is this:
What good is there in trying to keep up with the comments if one can not check in the very next day and at least read 24-36 hours worth of comments?
I realize the blog section is available, but most do not even use that! Why blog to say: hello, how is your toe today?
