Huey Lewis and the News will perform at The Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater (The Fred) May 3rd and 4th.

The Grammy winning and Academy Award nominated rock band will be a bonus appreciation show, performing on a Saturday and Sunday night, that will be part of the five concert series. Series ticket holders will have the first opportunity to pick their night and seat to this particular concert when they renew their season tickets.

“According to survey results and the overwhelming request for Huey Lewis, we are excited to announce that he will be our opening show for the 2008 Lexus of South Atlanta Summer Concert Series at the Fred, said Lauren Yawn, Executive Director, the Peachtree City Tourism Association. “We wanted to have an appreciation show for our patrons and incorporate it into the series.”
