(a) Boog Powell

(c) Frank Howard
(d) Tom Seaver

What the heck? "Hondo" was, of course, John Havlicek of the Boston Celtics.

Boog Powell was "Boog", Mickey Mantle was "The Mick", Tom Seaver was "Tom Terrific" and Frank Howard was "That 6 foot 8 inch doofus who played first base for the Washington Senators".

Don't feel bad, I had no idea either. I'll have to take Cy's word that it's the Wizard. I've even seen that a couple of times, although not recently

my parents took my sister and I to see the Wizard of Oz when it first came out (I believe..i was real young) and the wicked witch scared the bejeezus out of me. It ended up being a traumatic experience and, to this day, everytime I see the witch, my heart starts racing. I have blocked it out. We all have our demons that scare us and this is mine. Keep the faith.

the flying monkeys always scared the crap outta me(they still bring back the memories of the fear). Did anyone see "Tinman" on Sci-Fi network? It was a very cool take on the story, much darker than the Wizard of Oz movie, but then, the book was kinda dark too.
