Notice to all Tyrone Businesses

The Town Council voted in Executive Session January 24 to refuse to discuss repeal of the Old Council’s damaging Zoning Ordinances that illegally deleted your property uses. This action was not made public at the meeting or in the minutes. In essence, the lawyers were given the go ahead to defend these ordinances as far as they could go. What ever happened to the election campaign promises?

must comply with the law and make decisions in the best interests of all citizens. A bad law whether legal or not must be repealed. It is the duty of governmental representatives to choose right over wrong. They take an oath to do so. What is right always takes precedent over politics. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Failure to investigate is no excuse. Failure to listen to the citizens is unacceptable. Allowing lawyers to make decisions in conflict with the citizen's best interests is intolerable. In defending our rights we take no prisoners past, present or future. Just ask Amos, Smola & Sears.
